Belinda Richardson: Owner/Artistic Director
Originally from McAllen, TX, Ms. Belinda began her ballet training at the age of 10 at the Deborah Case Dance Academy. She spent summers training under Prima Ballerina, Galina Mezentseva, of The Kirov Ballet and attended intensives with the Joffrey Ballet working specifically with Willy Shives. Her passion for teaching led to further her education in dance pedagogy and philosophy, earning a Masters Degree in Dance from Texas Woman's University in 2012.
During graduate school, Ms. Belinda was mentored by Dr. Linda Caldwell who inspired her research in women’s studies and contemporary dance; focusing on transgressive female choreographers who challenge how we view and experience dance.
Ms. Belinda has presented her research at the North Texas Philosophical Association in Denton, TX and published: La Femme Grotesque: The Disruptive Performance Art of Marie Chouinard and Orlan.
Brittany golden:
Assistant Director
Ms. Brittany has been performing for an audience since day one! In high school, she learned ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop under Lori French, competed at the State level in One Act Play under Victoria Jackson and apprenticed as an Assistant Instructor at her dance studio.
She earned a degree in Performance Studies from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where she performed leading roles in several stage productions before spending a semester in London to study theatre production. During undergrad, she also cheered competitively for UMHB, coached cheer & tumbling at Heart of Texas Gymnastics and continued her dance education under Lisa Shed in Temple, TX.
Brittany has a Master’s of Liberal Arts from Dallas Baptist University. She joined the PHD teaching staff in 2012 and now serves as the Assistant Director. She oversees our after school programs, summer camps and annual recital production. Ms. Brittany has a passion for dance education and strives to instill students with the skills needed to perform well on and off the stage!
Elena Olshin
Ms. Elena, received her early training at the American Dance Institute where she studied with founder Pamela Bjerknes. She attended summer intensives at the Kirov Academy of Ballet, The Bolshoi Ballet, The Rock School, and Ballet West. Elena was selected to participate in the Kennedy Center Masterclass Series for two years and also competed at the Youth American Grand Prix semi-finals and New York City Finals, as well as a soloist at the Tanzolymp Dance Festival in Berlin, Germany.
After graduating from the Akhmedova Ballet Academy where she completed her last four years of training, Elena moved to Delaware to join First State Ballet Theatre. She danced there for four seasons and performed roles such as Cupid in Don Quixote, Canary Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, Ocean and Pearls Pas de Trois, and Pas De Deux from Flames of Paris, as well as working with Viktor Plotnikov on his premieres of Romeo and Juliet and Dracula.
In 2021 Elena became a Resident Teaching Artist at the Wilmington Ballet, and had the pleasure of performing roles such as Dewdrop and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Waltz from Les Sylphide, Pas de Trois from Swan Lake, and The Dying Swan. In 2025, Elena became company member with Pegasus Contemporary Dance in Dallas, TX.
ABIGAIL DIXON
Ms. Abigail was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and has been dancing since the age of six. She trained extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, and contemporary with Ballet Forte, performing in annual Nutcracker productions, community theatre shows, and at the Regional Dance America Festival.
After completing her studies at the Institute for American Musical Theatre in New York City, Abigail returned to Texas and spent three years teaching at the Vagonava based Sugar Land Dance Center. As a choreographer for recital and Nutcracker pieces, and developer of the studio’s adult ballet program, Abigail adored teaching dancers of all ages and experience levels. Abigail also taught ballet at local Montessori schools, and was on staff at the award winning Inspiration Stage, as an acting and vocal coach.
Ms. Abigail is beyond excited to join the faculty at Preston Hollow Dance! Her favorite styles are ballet and musical theatre, and she is passionate about helping dancers grow in technique, confidence, and artistry while fostering a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
ANNA ROTLLANT
Ms. Anna is originally from Barcelona, Spain. She was accepted into the dance conservatory Institut del Teatre, where she trained in ballet, contemporary techniques, partnering, contact improvisation, martial arts, and music.
In 2021, Anna moved permanently to New York to attend the Certificate Program at The Alvin Ailey School, graduating in 2024. During her time there, she performed works by Robert Battle, former Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, at the 2022 Spirit Gala at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater. She was also a member of the Ailey Student Performance Group (ASPG), where she had the opportunity to perform works by Alvin Ailey, Ronald K. Brown, Norbert De La Cruz, and Brandi Lewis.
Anna has also taught ballet, jazz, modern, musical theater and contemporary dance and at Texas Ballet Theater School where she also choreographed for the TBT Ensemble. Anna is a Gyrotonic® instructor and in her third season at Dallas Black Dance Theatre.
